Spidey is back and its a visual treat this time – The Amazing Spider-Man.

One of the world’s most popular characters is back on the big screen as a new chapter in the Spider-Man legacy is revealed in The Amazing Spider-Man™. Focusing on
an untold story that tells a different side of the Peter Parker story, the new film stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, with Martin Sheen and Sally Field.
The film is directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay written by James Vanderbilt, based on the Marvel Comic Book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Laura Ziskin, Avi Arad, and Matt Tolmach are producing the film in association with Marvel Entertainment for Columbia Pictures.
The Amazing Spider-Man™ is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). A story about a kid who grows up looking for his father and finds himself,
The young Peter Parker is still searching for reasons why his worried father left him with Uncle Ben (Martin Sheen) and Aunt May (Sally Field) to grow up and the mysterious circumstances which killed his mother and his scientist father in an automobile accident.
The lead pair Andrew Garfield, as Peter Parker – The Spider-Man and Emma Stone, as his high-school mate Gwen Stacy as his love interest.
Teenage nerd Peter gets his fateful bite from a genetically altered spider at a top-secret research lab run by his father’s former colleague Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans). Dr. Connors is under pressure as his boss (Irfan Khan) announces that they have decided to shut down the lab which Dr. Connors had hoped would provide the biomedical technology to allow him to grow a replacement for his missing arm.
Therefore its now or never and so Dr. Connors injects himself with a serum which would grow his missing arm, and so it does, but it also quickly turns Dr. Connors into a giant Lizard who gets out on a destructive mode.
As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents’ disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father’s former partner.
There is a fantastic rescue sequence, in which Spider-Man throws his mask towards a kid caught in a car dangling from a bridge, and convinces the child that the mask “It’ll make you strong” so that he can climb out of the car.
Another sequence when the construction workers arrance cranes to allow the injured Spidey to swing on them to reach the Oscorp Corp Lab’s building terrace to defuse the attempt of a giant Lizard ready to disperse biochemicals that would turn New Yorkers into reptiles.
As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors’ alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.
